High Level Shielding

 

CeramXshield™ has been designed and developed to shield electromagnetic and microwave energies, as well as X-rays. CeramXshield™ poured or paneled at 1 1/2" thick will effectively block a 2mm equivalency of lead. CeramXshield™ will provide performance superior to existing radiation products based on portland cement when used to provide safe rooms for X-ray use in medical facilities Further laboratory testing is planned, so the above thickness figure may be further reduced and higher levels of radiation attenuation may be attained.

	Provides a seamless and homogenous radiation barrier at all points, including joints.
